Will an SSD make my laptop faster?

Yes, usually the biggest single speed gain on an older laptop: faster boot, app launch and file copy. It will not make a slow CPU faster.

How much RAM do I need?

8GB is the practical minimum for Windows 11 and browser work; 16GB helps with many tabs, virtual machines or editing. We check the slot count before quoting.

Can a virus make my laptop slow?

Yes. Malware, browser hijackers and fake extensions can slow boot and browsing. Virus removal starts at ₹999 and includes hardening.

How much does an SSD upgrade cost?

Labour is ₹999 including data migration; the drive is at cost +10%. A 500GB NVMe is typically ₹2,800–₹3,500 (checked October 2026).

Is it worth upgrading a 2017 laptop?

If the screen, keyboard and board are healthy, often yes. If the repair total approaches a new laptop, we tell you to replace it.
