Phone Charging Port Repair: Do’s and Don’ts

What to do

What not to do

1. DON’T

   Don't insert metal tools into the charging port

   to avoid causing further damage

   Prevent electrical shock.

2. DON’T

   Don't force an angled plug into the port

   to prevent damage to the port or plug

   Avoid making the problem worse.

3. DON’T

   Don't agree to a port change without diagnosis
